Welcome to MrandMrsMann.com -

Greetings to all. Sarah and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who attended our wedding 'party' last summer and for all the wonderful gifts. We really had a blast and it was great getting to see everyone.

For those of you who don't know, 2008 was an extremely busy year for both of us. In late 2007 we began tossing around the idea of relocating back to the DFW area. Then talk began in the office about opening a new branch in Dallas. I jumped on the opportunity and now it was time to start looking for a house. This however, would prove to be a difficult task since we were living in Denver, CO. Not to mention I was traveling a fair amount for work and Sarah was in the middle of Law School. But one thing led to another and after a few house hunting trips back to Texas, we found the right one in Plano and made an offer. Everything worked out great and we ended up closing on the house in late March.

The next item on the agenda was pretty big. After a few more trips back to Texas to work on the house, Sarah and I jumped on a plane and headed to St. Martin. We decided to get married on the white sands of Happy Bay, 10 years to the day that we had met (May 18th). We rented a house for the week and invited a few friends to come along. We all had an absolutley tremendous time. Sarah and I enjoyed it so much that we are in the process of planning another trip (maybe Tortola this time). When the sun set on our last day in St. Martin we took full advantage because awaiting our return to the states was a move to Texas.

At the end of May we were packed up and on the road home. Getting settled in took us a little while but its great to have a place to call home for good. Things changed on the workfront for me. I decided to join up with a new team located in downtown Dallas. Most of Sarah's time (well, almost all) has been spent gearing up for the Texas Bar Exam in late July. The mountains in Colorado are definitley missed as our snowboards have become a piece of art just hanging on the wall begging to taken for a ride. 2009 should be an eventful and funfilled year for us both. With Sarah's Law career about to blossom and with me always looking for new business venture's, who knows what the future will hold.
